The Elsmere Fire Company's 24-seat Goshen Coach, which is identified as MERV 39, has been utilized many times for both emergency and non-emergency situations. "The Bus" as it's commonly referred to, was built on a 1990 Ford Econoline 350 diesel chassis. It has been equipped with a emergency lights, two way radios, bathroom, and side awning. The most notable emergency response occurred when Elsmere firefighters and the Urban Serach and Rescue Team were called to assist at the World Trade Center site in NYS immediately after 9/11.
