2004 HMVFA and ACVFA Convention

January 2004:

Hannaford Markets became the first Corporate Convention Sponsor for the upcoming 2004 HMVFA & ACVFA Convention donating $2,500 to Elsmere Fire Company. Mr. Larry Nash, Manager of the Delaware Plaza Hannaford in Elsmere, gave the check to Elsmere Fire Company representatives at a press conference held on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the Hannaford Market. Accepting the check for Elsmere were Joe Catalano, Company President; Steve Wright, Convention Chair; Lt. Eric Bettinger, Ad Book and Fund Raising Chair and Mark Platel, Public Relations Chair.

As part of the sponsorship, Hannaford will receive a full page advertisement in the upcoming Convention Program book, a banner to be prominently displayed throughout the convention and it's logo on convention materials such as tee shirt and mugs.

The Elsmere Fire Company will host the 77th annual Hudson-Mohawk Volunteer Firefighter's Association and the Albany County Volunteer Firefighter's Association Convention concurrently. This event will be held September 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2004, at Elsmere's firehouse in the Town of Bethlehem.
