| In 2001, the
Elsmere Fire District began a renovation and reconstruction of its
station at 15 West Poplar Drive.
The day to day business was conducted out of a trailer
in the rear of the property. Meetings and training had to be
conducted at various
locations around Town. Special thanks to the American Legion
Post, Delmar
Fire Department, and Slingerlands Fire Department for the use of their
facilities
during the renovation of our firehouse.
